VESSEL

Unique ID: IARCH-17211A

Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

Discussion by P T Marney in Zeepvat 1994, pp.3-4: Of a local sand-tempered fabric. The three "vessels are thought to be poor imitations of the BBI miniature cooking pot"…they "are not latticed, and have sagging bases". They are decorated with 'wild arcs', which may indicate a late third to early fourth century date. Coin blanks

Notes:

This record is for an object associated with a coin hoard and was imported from an external project database. It may therefore lack the usual level of detail and images.
