Cast copper-alloy umbonate harness mount or bridle boss. It has a multifoil openwork pattern, with nine knops around the edge in the form of four-petalled flowers, alternating with eight knops in the form of fleurs-de-lis. There are two circular rivet holes. The rest of the openwork is asymmetrical, with moulded curvilinear ovals surrounding a central fleuret with six openwork heart-shaped petals. It dates to the 17th century.
