Copper alloy flat mount, cross and crosslets shape. The mount has a simple line decoration running along the inside edge of the cross. In the centre of the reverse there was probably a pin, possibly made of iron to attach the mount. The mount weighs 1.12g and measures 22.5mm in diameter.
Amy Downes, FLO, adds: A published reference for mounts of this design is the Army and Navy Stores Catalogue from 1907, where they are on page 197 described as "fancy nails".
