Small copper alloy rotary key of possible Medieval or Post-medieval date. Length 32mm, width of bow 20mm and thickness of the stem 5mm. Weight 5.07g.

The oval-shaped bow is off-centre with the stem. The stem is 23mm in length and is hollow for 12mm of its length. The bit which is 8mm wide and 7mm in depth has two clefts at the front and one cleft at the rear. All the clefts are indistinct. There is no channel between the stem and the bit. Probably a casket key.
