A badly heat-affected copper alloy Roman brooch, possibly of Headstud type and dating from the late 1st to 2nd century AD. Only part of the bow and the head survives. The bow has a ridge running down the centre, with incised lines either side. The melted condition of the brooch is consistent with its presence in a cremation and makes the positive identification of the brooch type rather problematic.

Class: ?Headstud
