Copper alloy mount. Sexfoil sheet metal mount of domed form with a ragged central aperture (length 5mm) and a small hole in one of its lobes. Lightly crumpled. The finder kindly refers to UKDFD no. 40805 as a parallel. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1450.
