A copper alloy medieval annular brooch (ring buckle) dating from mid 13th century to mid 15th century. The brooch comprises an ovular frame with bevelled edges and incised with a series of incised transverse grooves or ridges around the entirety of the obverse of the frame. There is a recess to hold the pin in place and the pin survives. The reverse is undecorated. The brooch is 26.08mm in diameter, 1.55mm thick and weighs 2.11 gramsm
