A cast copper-alloy vessel leg of medieval to post-Medieval date, circa 1250-1750. In plan, the leg is sub-rectangular, with a rounded lower edge and broken upper edge. The break is not recent. The leg is of D-shaped cross section, there is a transverse collar to the upper end, and a central faint vertical ridge running down the front, (possibly a mould line). The leg is hoof like in appearance and has a mottled green/black patina. The object is probably from a skillet, ewer or cauldron. Height of leg: 32.66 mm Width: 26.04 mm. Thickness: 16.34 mm. Weight: 47 grams. Reference Pas WAW-7E20A5.
