A cast copper alloy hooked tag dating from AD 1500 - 1700. It has a hollow backed, dome fronted plate decorated with a bearded human face, three quarters facing forwards, slightly facing the right, inside a raised framing border. The head is orientated so it faces the hook. At one side is an integral trapeziodal attachment loop. Opposite this on the other side is the stub of the broken and missing hook. The hooked tag is 22.4mm long, 14mm wide and 3.8mm thick. 2.08g.
