A roughly cast lead-alloy weight of probable medieval to early post-Medieval date, circa 1250-1550.
The weight is sub-conical, its flat base being irregular in plan. There is a vertical aperture which has a sub-circular cross section, is located off centre and tapers towards the top. Projecting from the apex are what may be the remains of an integrally cast loop.
The weight has a matt-white patina. Height of weight: 17.08 mm. Diameter at the base: 22.99 mm. Width of aperture at base: 4.91 mm. Width of aperture at top: 1.80 mm. Weight: 31 grams.
