A silver penny of Edward I (AD 1279-1307), possibly Class 1b and dating to the period c. AD 1302-1310. Mint of London. North N1039. This coin has a different patina and feel to the others in the collection - it may have been made form a lower grade silver. It has survived remarkably well retaining much detail.
