A lead alloy pistol ball of post-Medieval date, circa 1644. The ball has a pale, yellowish-grey patina. It is 11.3mm in diameter and weighs 8.41gm. The weight suggests it would have been used in a very small pistol. (Harding (2012) Lead Shot of the English Civil War: a Radical Study.)
