Sherd; Rim sherd of Medieval date. Fabric is pale grey at the core and interior, oxidised to a very pale orange-pink at the exterior surface. Gritty, quartz sand temper abundant throughout. Glazed on exterior and interior with a drab, olive green glaze which is heavily abraded. The rim is plain and narrow and is raised above a thick, beaded, band running circumferentially around the body 15mm below. Probable jar, of Brandsby-type Ware.
