Cast lead-alloy and iron item, possibly a poorly made Tudor dress hook dating from the post-medieval period, that is c. AD1500-1700. The item is made from cast lead-alloy and roughly triangular-shaped. While fairly flat and undecorated on the underside, it is decorated with moulded knops on the obverse. The obverse surface is decorated with three large roundels/knops which in turn are decorated pellets-in-circlets and smaller knops, a decoration known from Tudor dress hooks made from cast bronze or silver (for an example, see LANCUM-F39E56). The hook and loop were probably made from iron but only corroded stumps remain; most of the attachment loop and hook are missing.
