A Roman lead alloy lion head mount, dating 1st-2nd century AD. The mount is circular with the relief design of a lion's head, including mane, on one side. On the other side are two linear incisions, one running the full length of the mount and another smaller incision that cuts across the larger line in the centre. This is probably where the mount attached to the object it was associated with. The object has a light grey pattination.
