A slightly abraded body sherd from an Iron Age upright vessel.

The sub-rectangular sherd has a dark grey core with small stone inclusions; the surfaces are light pinkish-brown, there is sooting on the inner face and lines of impressed cord decoration on the outer face. The fineness of the vessel, and rilling on the inside, suggest this pot may have been thrown or finished on a wheel.
