A Late Iron Age to Early Roman Nauheim-derivative brooch, dating from the 1st century AD.
The brooch has been cast in one piece, with the top of the bow extending into the rearward-curving spring remnant. The bow is of flat section, straight-sided and tapers to a pointed foot. The unperforated catchplate has a rolled outer side.
