Sherd; body sherd of indeterminate date. Very thick-walled ceramic, wheel-spun and wiped on the exterior. Interior shows marks from hand-finishing. Dark grey at the core oxidised to a pale pinkish-brown at the surfaces. Inclusions include moderate angular quartz grits (c.1mm), rare calcite (c.2mm) and angular black and red iron grits (c.2.5mm). Many of the inclusions erupt at both surfaces. Irregular fracture.

The vessel fragment is 31.7mm long, 42.3mm wide, 14.7mm thick and weighs 19.6g.
