Sherd; rim sherd of Medieval date. Large, upwardly projecting flange, plain at the rim, with a carinated edge at the exterior, curving inwards at the interior. The flange is probably from a large bowl. Fabric is a hard, sandy, wheel-thrown material, pale blue-grey at the core and to buff-white at the surfaces. Undecorated.

The vessel fragment is 40.8mm long, 33.2mm wide, 8.5mm thick and weighs 16.8g.
