Sherd; rim sherd of Medieval date. Upwardly projecting flange, plain at the rim, with a carinated edge at the exterior, curving inwards at the interior. The flange is probably from a large bowl. Fabric is a hard, sandy, wheel-thrown material, pale grey at the core and reduced to dark grey at the exterior surface, oxidised to pale orange at the interior. Undecorated.

The vessel fragment is 32.1mm long, 35.7mm wide, 6.9mm thick and weighs 8.8g.
