Sherd; ceramic body sherd of Medieval date. Fabric is a hard, reduced dark-grey at the core, paler grey at the exterior surface and oxidised to a pinkish-orange at the interior. Temper includes frequent, very fine sand and sparse mica. Clean fracture. Exterior is lightly glazed in a pale yellow-green glaze flecked with dark green copper. Circumferential ridges from wheel-throwing are clearly visible on the exterior.
