A complete lead or lead alloy bifaced token of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1800).

The token is sub circular. Both the obverse and reverse bear designs of uncertain form. The obverse may have a set of two initials (TH & DE) (Probably Powell type 2), whereas the reverse bears a sub triangular design (probably Powell type 9).

The token has a diameter of 20.6 mm and is 3.6 mm thick. It weighs 7.7 g.

The token is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.
