Medieval sheet copper alloy strap mount, circular, probably once slightly domed but now distorted, holes for two rivets (one with remains of an iron rivet), central round aperture (diameter 4mm) and engraved decoration consisting of a circle (diameter 18mm) with an arc, curving chord and single radial line at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock and with a pair of radial lines midway between each. Diameter c.24mm. 14th - 15th century.
