A complete copper-alloy rectangular buckle pin of Medieval date.

Comprising of a flat rectangular cross-section with an open hooked loop at one terminal. Before the loop is a raised rectangular ridge with three transverse grooves. The other terminal tapers to a point.

This buckle pin measures 48.81mm in length, 3.70mm in width, 4.03mm in thickness, 4.46g in weight

There is a similar example from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, pp. 115, no. 541, 547).
