A copper-alloy strap-end, dating from the Early-Medieval to Medieval periods.
The body of the strap end is sub-rectangular in plan, tapering towards the base, where there is a terminal in the form of a heavily stylised zoomorphic mask. The widest part is the upper end, where the body splits into two parallel plates, with a central gap for the now-missing strap.
