A complete lead or lead alloy unifaced token of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1800).
The token is sub circular. The obverse design consists of two captial letters BL, with pellets between (Powell type 2). The reverse is undecorated.
The token has a diameter of 18.5 mm and is 2.0 mm thick. It weighs 3.5 g.
The token is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.
