A hooked strap fitting with three lobed projections for rivets. The main body of the object is circular, domed, and concave on the back. From the body projects a hook, most of which is missing. The decoration is raised and is in the form of a cross of St George within an oval 'wreath', indicative of a date during the Commonwealth period. The fitting is patinated dark brown.
