Incomplete post-medieval black-lacquer coated copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops oval (one largely missing), with a lobes at the ends of the bar. The extant outside edge is very similar to those of Whitehead 2003, no. 409 but it is quite flat and lacks a moulded rosette. Estimated length 52mm. Width 36mm. c.1550 - c.1650.
