A cast copper alloy tapering cylinder measuring 68.29mm in length. Near the wider end is a goup of three cast and rounded chevrons. Within the chevron group is a small circular countersunk hole. Remains of a white metal coating survive on the surface.
The purpose of this object is unclear. It has the appearance of the spigot for a barrel tap but the lack of any grip to prevent the spigot turning in the wood argues against this interpretation.
