Medieval or post-medieval sheet copper alloy folded rivet, probably a repair for a copper-alloy vessel. The rivet is made from a roughly lozenge-shaped piece of sheet the ends of which have been folded in to meet in the middle and then back out; the portions bent back out are now lost to old breaks. There are traces of sooting on both faces. It measures 20.7mm by 11.0mm, is 2.6mm thick and weighs 1.30g.

A similar rivet is illustrated in Egan (1998, p. 176, no. 489) and in Egan (2005,101) Fig: 87 where he suggests a long date range of c. AD 1100-1700.
