Late Medieval copper alloy 'beehive' thimble, 13mm high and 17mm in diameter with a weight of 4.13grams. The thimble has a plain cone shaped upper portion, marked with an incised line at its base. Below this is an area of hand drilled indentations bound on its lower side by another incised line. The indentations are separated into three sections by three borders formed of two incised lines. Each forms a curving diagonal line, spiralling down from the upper border to the lower. The thimble is plain below this point.

The thimble is of a 'beehive' type dating to the late Medieval period, 1300-1450 and is similar to WILT-844B31
