A Late Medieval ampulla, dating to the 15th century. The ampulla is circular with a flaring neck that tapers to a circular body and ends in a squared base. At the shoulder are two square handles, attached half-way up the neck and on the body. There are compass drawn decorations on both sides, forming concentric engraved circles. The object has a dark grey pattination and there is white concreted material on one side and in the mouth of the ampulla. No parallels have been found with the squared base, but this type of object tends to date to the Late Medieval period.
