MOUNT

Unique ID: LEIC-CE0217

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Published Find published

Circular domed object, 30mm in diameter and 15mm high. The object is hollow and is decorated with raised circular bosses. These bosses are decorated with raised lines running from the edge to the centre, which has a large blob of Bronze, making them resemble daisy like flowers. These are arranged in lines and each line decreases in size as it nears the top of the object. The object is reminiscent of a sea urchin or a coral. It may be a decorative boss or a terminal, perhaps for a sword pommel or walking stick?
