Silver voided long cross penny of Henry III (1216-1272). Voided long cross coinage (1247-1279), Class 3c/North 988 (1248-50), moneyer Nicole, Canterbury Mint.

Obverse has evidence of multiple striking which paritally obsures a facing bust with inscription [_ _ _]RIVS RE[_ _ _ _]. Reverse has voided cross design with three pellets in each angle and inscription which reads NIC/_LE/O__/ANT,

This coin presents with a reverse multiple strike error, leading to a partial mirror image of the voided long cross reverse design obscuring much of the obverse including parts of the legend and the top and crown of the bust.
