Copper-alloy press-moulded object, possibly dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. The surface of the object is curved and depicts two greyhound dogs, one standing up behind, and another lying down in front. Both appear to be on some sort of bed or sledge. The background is decorated with intricate swirls. The back of the object is filled with a type of mortar, making it relatively heavy, but this is probably something which has become attached to the object at a later date rather than serving an original function. The object may have been burnt. It is possible that the object could be a lid to a pill box or patch box. The object weighs 21.22g and measures 27mm in length, 21mm in width and 10mm in thickness.
