Flint end scraper of probable Neolithic date (4000 - 2200 BC). The flint is a light brown colour and is mainly opaque but translucent around the edges. It is a secondary flake and retains some cortex on the curved distal end. It is sub-triangular in plan and sub-triangular in section. There are two removals on the dorsal face from the proximal end, and short, scaled, semi-abrupt soft hammer retouch on the curved distal end. There is also an area of retouch in the centre of the left side, worked from the ventral face. The retouch is short, parallel and abrupt. It is 29.1mm long x 22mm wide x 6.6mm thick. Weight 2.9g.
