A complete medieval to post-medieval cast lead spindle whorl with decoration on both sides consisting of evenly spaced pellets. The surface is worn in places and some of the pellets therefore stand less proud on the surface. There is a circular perforation in the centre which measures 10.85mm. It is circular in plan and bi-conical in profile, with a wide rim around the circumference. The metal is cream in colour. Its diameter is 28.77mm, it is 11.45mm thick and it weighs 36.61g.
