An incomplete fragment of a ceramic handle from a pot or jug dating to the medieval period. The handle is circular in section and widens out and the attachment end to form a flat surface which would have joined the handle to a vessel. The breaks at each end are very worn. The surface is cream to light brown in colour with darker brown inclusions, and is uneven in texture. There are traces of a green glaze in places.

The length is 71.84mm, the width is 38.9mm at its widest, 22.5mm at its narrowest and the thickness is 20.77. It weighs 45.82g.
