Unique ID: YORYM-B9B112

Object type certainty: Certain

A fragment of a large post-medieval yellow glaze ceramic vessel. Marks of wheel-turning visible on the piece. A thick even yellow glaze on the inside surface. The fabric is orange-pink with sandy inclusions, fairly coarse and very thick, and the curvature of the piece suggests that the original vessel was large. Probably 16th or 17th century.
