One base sherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1400).
The base sherd consists of a local miscellaneous (unsourced) cooking pot type fabric, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD. Cooking pot type fabrics tend to be hard fired, unglazed with fine quartz temper. The base sherd comes from a large flat bottomed cooking pot type vessel.
