Medieval, cast copper alloy strap end made up of two conjoined pieces of sheet metal, one 0.9mm thick, the other 0.6mm thick divided by a shorter spacer. In the gap between the sheet metal plates are traces of what appears to be textile, probably the remains of a cloth belt. On the tip of the strap end is flat, lozenge shaped, terminal. The upper (open) end of the strap end bears two indentations between which is a single, copper alloy rivet. Width 13.1mm, Length 26.9mm, Thickness 4.5mm, Mass 3.31g. In London strap ends of this form were found in contexts dated to 1270-1400 (Egan and Pritchard 1991, 143, Fig. 94)
