A flint knife of Neolithic date, about 4000 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on a secondary flake of dark grey flint which shows no patination. It is sub-rectangular in plan, wider at the distal end than the proximal. It is trapezoidal in section, with a double dorsal ridge. There is long, scaled, low angle retouch along both sides, and some smaller and less tidy removals from the distal end. There is also an area of short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch on the ventral face at the proximal end, on the right edge of the knife. The knife is 74.3mm long, 27.2mm wide and 5.8mm thick. 12.89g.
