A flint end scraper, probably dating from the Bronze Age (c. 2350 - 801 BC).
The tool is on a secondary flake, is suboval in plan and of sub-triangular cross section. Part of the striking platform remains, with a deep bulbar scar below, on the ventral surface. Retouch, confined to the rounded distal end, varies between long, sub-parallel and low-angle to short and abrupt. The white surface of the exposed flint is indicative of deposition in alkaline soil.
