Medieval silver finger ring. Rectangular bezel with a longitudinal median arris dividing the bezel into two concave fields. The hoop, which tapers slightly from the edge of the bezel to the rear, is faceted to form six lozengiform fields with triangular fields to either side. Every field is engraved with a single line border around a design, except for the two triangular fields at the rear of the hoop which are plain. The bezel is engraved with a foliate and floral motif, the two triangular fields at either end of the bezel with radiating lines, the two lozengiform fields on each side of the hoop with a trefoil flower head, the two lozengiform fields at the rear with a quatrefoil motif, and the remaining engraved triangular fields with two angled lines. There are very slight traces of gilding.
