Copper alloy Roman furniture fitting that has a solid cast bell-shaped or concavo-convex knob with an expanded base. Within the cup of the bell shape is a tall conical protruding boss with a central dimple. On the back of the copper alloy mount is a rearward projecting rectangular iron pin. This type of fitting is known from the 1st to the 4th century
