An unpatinated struck flint object, possibly a simple scraper of later Prehistoric date. It is struck from a mottled grey flint, missing both striking platform and bulb of percussion. The distal end has a hinge fracture and the ventral face has a large single flake removal at the proximal end. Cortex remains on both sides of the dorsal face at the distal end, while the proximal end of the dorsal face has neat, semi-abrupt and scaled flake removal or edge retouch. This object measures 24.14mm in length, 25.56mm in width, 7.99mm in thickness, and 5.40g in weight. This is possibly a simple scraper, or perhaps just a retouched flake, that is of later Prehistoric date, c.4000-800 BC.
