Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Rearhook brooch, spring, pin, almost all of one wing and of the catchplate missing. The wing is decorated with a bead and reel mouding near its outer end, and there is a pair of median grooves on the D-sectioned bow, the terminal of which is distorted. Some tin coating remains on the wings. Mackreth 2011, CD RH 3. Estimated wingspan 30mm. Length c.38mm. c.43 - c.65.
