Incomplete Roman copper alloy Trumpet brooch, the spring, pin, chain-loop and most of the lower part of the bow missing, most of the surface badly decayed. Two crescentic cells, on either side of a median rob on the head, are inlaid with blue glass. The petalled mid-bow moulding does not continue onto the reverse. Below the moulding little detail has survived. Mackreth 2011, Trumpet 2. Extant length 35.5mm. Width 15.5mm. 2nd century.
