An incomplete copper alloy thimble of post-medieval date. Only a small portion of the wall of the thimble remains with worn breaks to all sides. It is decorated with irregular circular pits and a double banded border to the bottom edge. The reverse of the thimble is undecorated.

The metal has a mid green patina and is worn. The thimble is 22.9mm long, 14.3mm wide, 1mm thick and weighs 1.2g.
