An incomplete tombac button of post-medieval date. The button is discoidal, with a flat back and convex front. A small raised knop is present at the centre of the domed side and the worn and broken remains of an attachment loop project from the reverse.
The metal has a shiny greenish-grey patina and is worn. The button is 12.3mm in diameter, 5.4mm thick and weighs 2.4g.
